Thank you for your interest in participating in this year Coastal Cleanup scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20th. In addition to this online application, a HOLD HARMLESS FORMS and sign-up sheets are required for each group. Click here to download both Hold Harmless form and sign-up sheet(s). The Group Leader acknowledges the hazardous nature of the work and agrees to the following:

• Any participant 17 or younger must have adult supervision.
• All participants under 6 years require one-on-one adult supervision.
• All group leaders (or a group representative) are required to attend a Safety Meeting on Monday, September 15 in Room 166 of the Lecanto Government Building. Supplies, including t-shirts for the cleanup will be available to pick up at the meeting. Supplies are only available at the meeting. No exceptions.
• The Group Leader must share the safety-meeting information with all group participants before the cleanup.
• A Hold-Harmless form must be signed by the Leader and every participant. No signed form no participation.
• Groups must choose a specific waterway/shoreline section for debris removal and circle that location on the map.
• Participants shall submit the completed data cards to the Aquatic Services Office (address above) by Thursday, October 9, 2025. The data is compiled and sent to the Ocean Conservancy for a national database.
• Groups using a boat during cleanup shall abide by all laws that pertain to safe boating.

Should you be an individual that wants to sign up but are not part of a group, go ahead and fill out the application online, and email the sign-up sheet and Hold Harmless form to Tracey by the deadline making a note that you would like to be added to a group. Once all the groups have applied, you will be notified which group you can join.
